Texas REALTORS® Disaster Relief Fund
Assistance available for Houston-area residents
The Texas REALTORS® Disaster Relief Fund for Texans is now accepting applications from Houston-area residents who were displaced from their primary residence by Hurricane Beryl. Applicants may be eligible for up to $1,000 in assistance if they meet certain criteria.
Applications must be submitted on or before September 13, 2024.
Eligibility Criteria
-Who is eligible for assistance from the Texas REALTORS® Disaster Relief Fund?
Anyone in Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Liberty and Montgomery counties who was displaced from their home due to Hurricane Beryl. You do not have to be a REALTOR® to receive assistance.
-Ownership/Occupancy Verification
You MUST provide proof that the affected property is your primary residence on the last page of the application. This proof can include your driver’s license, mortgage statement, etc.
-Required Documents
- Copy of your driver’s license
- Proof of primary residence, such as your driver’s license mortgage statement, etc.
- Support your claims of displacement, such as hotel bills, insurance claims, and other documents to show your displacement.
- If insured, proof of claim, deductibles, and funds awarded
Applicants who do not respond to each question on the application and who do not provide the required supporting documentation will not be considered.
