Disaster Relief Fund

Assistance available for Houston-area residents

The Texas REALTORS® Disaster Relief Fund for Texans is now accepting applications from Texas residents whose primary residence has been damaged or were displaced due to the recent severe weather in the Houston area. Applicants may be eligible for up to $1,000 in assistance if they meet certain criteria.

Eligibility Criteria

-Who is eligible for assistance from the Texas REALTORS® Disaster Relief Fund?

Anyone in the Houston area whose primary residence has been damaged or who had to evacuate due to recent severe weather in the area. You do not have to be a REALTOR® to receive assistance.

-Ownership/Occupancy Verification

You MUST provide proof that the affected property is your primary residence on the last page of the application. This proof can include your driver’s license, mortgage statement, etc.

-Required Documents

  • Copy of your driver’s license
  • Proof of primary residence, such as your driver’s license mortgage statement, etc.
  • Support your claims of displacement, such as hotel bills, insurance claims, and other documents to show your displacement.

Applicants who do not respond to each question on the application and who do not provide the required supporting documentation will not be considered.
