Frequently asked questions

Questions about joining HAR?

No. HAR membership and MLS access are separate. Depending on your situation, you may need HAR membership, MLS access or both. Use the Apply Now tool above if you are unsure where to start.
HAR’s current membership information states that an active real estate license is required to become a REALTOR® member. Additional requirements may apply depending on your membership type.
You may have a different path to HAR MLS access. Choose “I’m not sure — help me choose” in the Apply Now tool and answer the short set of questions.
HAR’s New Member Hub provides a 30-day roadmap with account setup, orientation, Code of Ethics training, MLS learning resources and recommended next steps.
